What made you choose ophthalmology? Or did ophthalmology choose you? What was the chain of events that led you to where you are today?

For Lisa Park, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons, it was a flyer from the ophthalmology department at Yale. Now, she teaches the next generation of physicians that an individual approach is essential, and one size does not fit all. Meanwhile, young residents, like Anesu Madikane, have missed out on a lot of hands-on experience this year, but have still managed to find some positivity in this crisis. Until next time, Aleksandra Jones, Editor.
