WaveFront Dynamics, Inc. (WDI) has announced two new integrations with Bausch + Lomb and WAVE Eye Care, designed to provide eye care professionals with greater flexibility in premium scleral lens selection and patient care.

Through these collaborations, eye care professionals utilizing the WaveDȳn® Vision Analyzer and the WaveDȳn® Advantage optic design service will now have expanded access to Bausch + Lomb’s Zenlens® CHROMA HOA™ and additional scleral lens options from WAVE Eye Care, enabling practices to combine advanced diagnostic intelligence with the lens platform that is most appropriate for each patient’s visual needs.

“Today’s clinicians want both precision and flexibility,” said Dan Neal, Ph.D., Founder, CEO, WaveFront Dynamics. “These collaborations represent an important step forward in empowering eye care professionals with advanced wavefront analysis while preserving their ability to choose the scleral lens technology they believe is best for each patient. By expanding the ecosystem around our
WaveDȳn Vision Analyzer, we are helping practices deliver more customized care for patients with complex cornea cases and higher-order aberrations.”

"The WaveDȳn Vision Analyzer and WaveDȳn Advantage platform broaden eye care professionals' ability to utilize our Zenlens® CHROMA HOA™ lenses," said Yang Yang, President, Global Vision Care, Bausch + Lomb. "The diagnostic information these technologies provide is important to the fitting process and offers more options for designing HOA-correcting scleral lenses for patients."

These collaborations are also said to extend value to referring optometrists, giving them access to more comprehensive planning tools alongside the surgeons they work with.

By connecting advanced diagnostics with customizable lens technologies, the collaborations are expected to improve communication and expand access to personalized solutions for both MDs and ODs.
