Following our inaugural Recognizing Global Education Impact feature last year – which featured, among others, Oftalmo University (Mexico), The International Centre for Eye Health (UK), and Aravind Eye Care System (India) – we are once again looking to showcase those global institutions and programs that are leading the way in tackling health inequity.
For 2024, we would like readers of The Ophthalmologist to recommend an institution or program that is fostering cutting-edge technology, pairing students with expert mentors, rolling out upskilling initiatives, and bringing new generations of ophthalmologists from diverse backgrounds and cultures into the profession.
