The Power List Hall of Fame 2024
Who are the latest additions to The Ophthalmologist’s most prestigious roll call?

Over the past 11 years, The Ophthalmologist Power List has celebrated innovation, leadership, and excellence across eye care – championing those surgical and clinical pioneers who are revolutionizing treatment, teaching, and technology in a quest to improve patient outcomes across the world.
Last year we brought a new dimension to the Power List with the establishment of The Hall of Fame. The inaugural Hall of Fame presented 10 ophthalmology luminaries from a range of subspecialties, whose achievements have had a seismic and lasting impact on the field. These inductees will no longer be eligible for the yearly Power List, but their legacies will be cemented in this ongoing commemoration of their careers.
This year we are adding five new names to this prestigious roll call. Our new “top row” comprises three veteran retina specialists, a noted entrepreneur and philanthropist, and a very significant name in OCT!

To further mark this occasion, we are also excited to invite you to an exclusive virtual roundtable – The Past, Present, and Future of OCT. This free event, which goes live at 10 am ET/3 pm GMT on December 11, 2024, features two of our new Hall of Fame inductees, alongside a distinguished line-up of Power List alumni.
It’s a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into current and future OCT trends and to review the technology’s impact on patient care. (If you can’t make the launch date, please register to receive the link to watch on demand.)
