Raising Sights

Gilad Litvin, Founder, Chairman and Chief Medical Officer of CorNeat Vision, talks to The Ophthalmologist about the new CorNeat KPro corneal replacement therapy.

He explains how he came up with the idea for the artificial cornea, what unmet needs it serves, and describes preparing for surgery and the procedure itself, as well as the all-revealing moment when patient's bandages came off. He also talks about his future projects, and the next steps for CorNeat KPro.

Many thanks to Gilad Litvin for talking to The Ophthalmologist. You will be able to read the full conversation in one of our upcoming issues.

About the Author

Aleksandra Jones

Editor of The Ophthalmologist

Having edited several technical publications over the last decade, I crossed paths with quite a few of Texere's current team members, and I only ever heard them sing the company's praises. When an opportunity arose to join Texere, I jumped at the chance! With a background in literature, I love the company's ethos of producing genuinely engaging content, and the fact that it is so well received by our readers makes it even more rewarding.
