MINIject: A MIGS Breakthrough

sponsored by iSTAR Medical

MIGS has been a game changer in controlling glaucoma patients’ intraocular pressure (IOP). iSTAR Medical’s new MINIject® implant has a unique silicone structure that minimizes scarring and maintains the implant’s performance over the long term. This allows for sustained control of IOP and is particularly suited for patients with mild to moderate glaucoma.

Here, Michel Vanbrabant, CEO of iSTAR Medical, and Karsten Klabe, ophthalmic surgeon at Breyer, Kaymak & Klabe Augenchirurgie in Düsseldorf, Germany, present the key features and unique aspects of MINIject from the floor of ESCRS 2022.
