In Conversation With… A. John Kanellopoulos

During the XXXIII Congress of the ESCRS 2015 in Barcelona, Mark Hillen, Editor of The Ophthalmologist, invited seven key participants of the conference to take part in an exciting new video project: “In Conversation With...”, an ongoing series of informal interviews with some of the biggest personalities in ophthalmology in glorious settings around the globe.

Next up: Part two of our conversation with John Kanellopoulos. One of the pioneers of laser refractive surgery, and an ophthalmologist whose research continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible. As such he’s consulted on and evaluated many of the latest technologies currently under development, and this interview sees John discuss the diagnostic, surgical, biological and pharmacological advances that could make a big difference to how cataract and refractive surgery is performed in the near future.
