In Conversation With… A. John Kanellopoulos

Whilst in Barcelona for the XXXIII Congress of the ESCRS 2015, Mark Hillen, editor of The Ophthalmologist, invited seven key participants of the conference to take part in an exciting new video project: “In Conversation With...”, an ongoing series of informal interviews with some of the biggest personalities in ophthalmology in glorious settings around the globe.

And who would be a more fabulous first interviewee than one of the pioneers of laser refractive surgery, A. John Kanellopoulos? Set in the Presidential Suite of the Hesperia Tower Hotel in Barcelona, Spain, the first of our two video interviews with A. John sees us discussing the effects austerity measures have had on Greek healthcare in general – and ophthalmology in general.
