Seeing by Touch
This image shows sensory artwork of a red blood cell from the Moorfields Eye Hospital BlindArt Collection. Mariya Moosajee, consultant ophthalmologist and researcher at Moorfields, incorporated pieces from the collection into her recent “Science of Sight” exhibition at the Science Museum in London, UK. Moosajee said: “Art shouldn’t just be something people can experience only through vision, but also through touch and smell.” More information on Science of Sight can be viewed here.
