“Our group” of maybe 15-20 retina physicians, all within 10 years of my age, has led the field of retina and ophthalmology for years. Many of us will transition to retirement within the next decade. These are the retina “founding fathers and mothers,” so to speak. I am so proud to have been a part of the field’s growth with this group.
