Emily is a medical retinal specialist with extensive experience in the design and implementation of clinical trials across all phases. Her principal research interests are diabetic- and age-related eye diseases.

What have been your career highlights?

“The opportunities to participate and to lead clinical trials that make a difference in medical practice to help reduce the burden of disease in patients with visual impairment.”

What are your goals for the future?

“Learning more about the disease processes in the leading cause of blindness, AMD, and hopefully finding primary preventive therapies for this devastating disease.”

“My mentors (past and present), my colleagues, my brave patients, and my wonderful family.”
