Peter Barry has been an ESCRS board member for more than 25 years, holding the position of treasurer, and most recently, President. Barry led the ESCRS Endophthalmitis Study, which recommended the adoption of intracameral cefuroxime following cataract surgery with IOL implantation – something that has saved thousands of eyes from
potential blindness.
