Centre for Sight will mark its 30th anniversary with a specialist ophthalmology conference bringing together leading surgeons, clinicians and industry innovators to explore the future of vision care. The conference brings together some of the leading clinicians in eye care from around the world.
The one-day event, “30 Years of Vision: Crafting the Next Decade,” will take place on June 5, 2026 at Alexander House Hotel in West Sussex, UK. The conference will examine how ophthalmology has evolved over the past three decades and the technologies, skills and business models set to shape the next.
Founded in 1996 by consultant ophthalmic surgeon and 2026 Ophthalmologist Power Lister Sheraz M. Daya, Centre for Sight has been at the forefront of refractive and cataract surgery in the UK, pioneering advances in laser vision correction and patient centered care.
The conference program will feature keynote reflections, expert panels and peer discussion covering innovation in refractive surgery, emerging technologies including AI, changing patient expectations and the future of premium ophthalmic practice.
Daya commented: “Over the past 30 years ophthalmology has seen remarkable transformation driven by technology, research and the dedication of clinicians committed to improving vision and quality of life. This conference is an opportunity to reflect on that journey, share insights with colleagues and look ahead to the innovations that will define the next decade of patient care.”
