Stabilizing IOL Outcomes

A systematic review has validated the high rotational stability of BVI Medical's POD Double C-loop intraocular lens (IOL) platform across various lens types and materials. Co-authored by Sheraz Daya, Christophe Chassain, and Christophe Pagnoulle, the review analyzed 19 clinical trials involving 1,428 eyes and demonstrated that the design offers four-point contact, balancing compression and stability. This enhances predictability in astigmatic corrections and minimizes the necessity for secondary procedures, reinforcing the lenses' suitability for next-gen technologies.
