The Ophthalmologist Power List 2024 – Nominations Now Open

By Julian Upton 11/13/2023 2 min read

Back in 2024 for its 11th iteration, The Ophthalmologist Power List will once again celebrate the Top 100 brilliant minds and magnetic personalities of the field.

The first barrier for any potential Power Lister? They must be nominated by you – the eye care community. The second hurdle? Critical appraisal by an esteemed panel of independent judges.

So, ask yourself: who are the most inspiring and influential ophthalmologists and scientists? Who is driving us all forward? Perhaps there's an overlooked trailblazer who deserves a moment in the spotlight – or a mentor that the next generation couldn’t do without? What about a researcher who has achieved incredible things, overcoming all obstacles? Now is your chance to put them on a pedestal.

You are welcome to nominate anyone involved in clinical practice, research, industry, ophthalmic societies, regulators, NPOs, academia, and more – as long as they are still active in the field. As always, we encourage you to consider diversity throughout the process.

Nominations will close on January 31, 2024, and the final list will be published in April 2024.

We look forward to receiving your nominations!
