If you're coming to visit Malik Y. Kahook at his home, you're in for a treat... or, rather, a trick! Kahook comments: "Nothing says Halloween like a monocular doorbell with slight ptosis. Halloween is always a fun holiday for us in Colorado. The weather is always beautiful and we have a chance to bond with neighbors through very friendly competitions by decorating our homes for the holiday."

Maiti also likes to decorate her workplace, the Periman Eye Institute in Seattle, Washington, US. She says: "Halloween is one of the few holidays where eye decor is already abundant! It's so easy to find different eye related decorations and candy this time of year, why not have fun and be creative with it? Patients love it, and it's enjoyable to come up with ideas of what to make and put together each year."
A few years ago, Maiti crocheted a few creations, which she called Cornea-copia.
