The new organizational structure will continue to be based near Zürich and to offer the full range of Heidelberg Engineering’s ophthalmic diagnostic imaging platforms and related IT solutions. In order to support growth and customer care, Heidelberg Engineering will be expanding its local resources and capabilities in several areas.

“In all the years that Symed has been our distribution partner, Swiss ophthalmologists both in larger clinics and in smaller practices have really appreciated our products and services. With a direct presence in the country, we would like to continue to nurture those excellent relationships and bring customers our latest innovations as soon as possible,” said Christoph Schoess, Managing Director of Heidelberg Engineering.
Heidelberg Engineering will continue to pursue its growth opportunities, offering an expanding portfolio of products and services through direct operations in the UK, USA, Australia and now Switzerland as well as through strong partnerships with specialized distributors in the rest of the world.
