ARVO 2026: Vision for Precision Ophthalmology

Global gathering advancing the next frontier in eye research

Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO)’s 2026 Annual Meeting will take place from May 3–7, 2026 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

This flagship event convenes over 11,000 clinicians, researchers and vision scientists worldwide, representing 70+ nations. The 2026 theme — “Achieving precision ophthalmology through innovative vision research” — spotlights how breakthroughs in stem‑cell research, genetics and gene editing, advanced imaging, and artificial‑intelligence tools are shaping more accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment for eye diseases.

Attendees can submit original, unpublished research abstracts (deadline 5 Dec 2025) for oral or poster presentation, engage in more than 300 sessions spanning basic to clinical science, and access travel grants or fellowship support from the ARVO Foundation. Whether you’re a seasoned investigator or early‑career scientist, ARVO 2026 promises a dynamic platform for learning, collaboration and shaping the future of vision research.
