The Power List 2021: Redressing the Balance

With next year’s list, we will showcase the achievements of ophthalmology’s top 50 most influential women

It’s that time of year again: nominations for The Ophthalmologist 2021 Power List are now open! (Please use the embedded form below.)

Following calls for more female representation on The Power List, we wanted to ensure we fully acknowledge the undeniable impact that women have on ophthalmic clinical practice, research, education, and industry. And so, for 2021, we will feature the Top 50 Women in Ophthalmology. Following years of underrepresentation, we hope our 2021 List will be recognized as a positive effort to redress the balance.

Did you know that only 17 women found a spot on our 2020 Top 100 list, with just one in the Top 10?

We accept nominations across all areas of ophthalmology – and do feel free to vote for as many women as you like, using a separate entry for each name. After the nomination process, our independent judging panel will have the final say as to who makes the cut.

Please note that you do not need to vote for the same person more than once; each name will appear only once in the list passed to our judges.

Nominations will close on January 31, 2021

If you have any questions or comments, need further information or clarification, feel free to email me directly: aleksandra.jones@texerepublishing.com.
