Teele Palumaa

Dr. Teele Palumaa is a clinician-scientist in ophthalmology and circadian biology, currently based at the University of Tartu and East Tallinn Central Hospital in Estonia, with interdisciplinary expertise spanning clinical research, population genetics, neuroscience, and experimental models. Her research combines large-scale biobank analyses with translational experimental approaches to investigate mechanisms underlying ocular traits and diseases, with particular interests in myopia, sleep, and circadian regulation.
