John West
John West is a Reader at the University of Edinburgh, UK. His principal research interest is understanding how stem cells maintain the corneal epithelium of mice, and he and his research team achieve this through the fusion of wild-type transgenic mouse embryos in order to create mouse chimeras. John’s interests outside of work include hillwalking, real ale, and the occasional bout of waterskiing.
