Hajirah N. Saeed

Is an Associate Professor and Associate Director of the Ocular Regenerative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. An internationally recognized expert on SJS/TEN, she leads an NIH-funded study on its genetics and epidemiology. Her research also explores machine learning for corneal diagnostics, pediatric corneal crosslinking, and sustainable eye banking in developing countries.
