She is associated with Department of Ophthalmology, Rigshospitalet, and Copenhagen Academy of Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES). </span><span style="border: 0px; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: 1em; line-height: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-optical-sizing: inherit; font-size-adjust: inherit; font-kerning: inherit; font-feature-settings: inherit; font-variation-settings: inherit; font-language-override: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; color: inherit;">Her research spans virtual reality–based simulation training, transfer of skills, objective skills assessment, and robot-assisted surgery&nbsp;— with multiple peer-reviewed publications.</span><br>

Lars Konge is a certified cardio-thoracic surgeon, consultant at the Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES) Rigshospitalet, and a full professor of medical education at the University of Copenhagen and a part-time professor at the University of Southern Denmark. He has a PhD in assessment, and his main research areas are simulation-based training and certification of technical skills. Professor Konge is one of the world’s most active researchers in medical education and has published more than 400 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He has been the supervisor on 34 PhD dissertations, and is currently supervising 12 PhD students regarding scientific projects on medical education.

His special interest, research, and speaking engagements lie in advanced dry eye care. His love for dry eye stems from his ocular disease residency training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and has since grown with his practice at The Eye Institute of Utah. <span style="font-size: 13pt;">Olivia Earley gained a Medical Degree MB BCH BAO University College Galway, Ireland in 1980, Fellowship of UK Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 1997, an MD Thesis Queens University Belfast 1991, a Research Fellowship Duke University North Carolina 1992, Retinal Fellowship St Thomas’ Hospital London 1993. She became a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Belfast HSCT in 1993, and currently specialises in Phacoemulsification, and has contributed to surgical training over many years.</span>
